In my previous post I stated that I was going with Moorish theme, again I find it interesting as I've never looked into Muslim architecture or even known of the word Moorish.
In this post I will be writing about what I have found out about the Moorish or Moors and their architecture and cultural influences.
The Moors were basically medieval Muslims and the Moorish empire were inhabitants of many places, some of these being Iberian Peninsula, Maghreb, Sicily and Malta. An approximation of their empire can be seen below.

As you can clearly see the Moors stretched over a vast amount of land so there culture would have had many influences from different areas such as:

From what I've found these are some of the best surviving examples of Moorish architecture are:
- La Mezquita in Cordoba
- Alhambra palace in Granada
- Giralda in Seville
- Medina Azahara
- Aljafería in Saragossa
